Aversions Crown Get AMPED By All Axess

This week’s AMPED Artist Of The Week is Aussie metal heavyweights, Aversions Crown. The official film clip to ‘Vectors’ from the group’s latest album, ‘Tyrant’ can be viewed below.

Since their inception in 2010, Aversions Crown have very quickly risen to the top of the Australian metal scene and are now firmly among the country’s major flag bearers on the international scene. Even after parting ways with vocalist Colin Jeffs earlier this year, the band showed no signs of slowing up, almost immediately replacing him with young gun, Mark Poida. Now, fresh off the back of a European tour with Within the Ruins and I Declare War, and three monstrous shows with Psycroptic and Goatwhore, the band is currently gearing up once again to hit the road, this time with Attila on a major Australian tour. A full list of dates can be found here.

We recently caught up with the band for an exclusive chat about the upcoming Aussie shows, as well as their latest album, ‘Tyrant’, their new vocalist Mark Poida, how they think they are fairing on the international scene and what their thoughts are about the current Australian metal scene. Stay tuned for that later in the week, but in the meantime, enjoy ‘Vectors’ below.

Cameron shreds in the home, on the road and in the office. He enjoys the tranquility of a quiet mountain almost as much as he does the unbridled extremities of metal.
