Renowned guitarist Paul Gilbert has announced that he and a bunch of very special guests, will be hosting the ‘Paul Gilbert Great Guitar Escape,’ next year.

The epic clinic has been designed so that players of all skill levels and musical preference can attend. It will cover several techniques, including rock, blues, metal, jazz-fusion and more.

“The most important fuel for my own musical fire has always been seeing and hearing great musicians ‘up close’.” Gilbert has commented. “I am extremely proud of the musicians that I’ve assembled for my Great Guitar Escape, and I look forward to sharing my ideas at my daily workshops as well. I know everyone who attends will leave with powerful ideas and inspiration to use for their own music.”

The musicians in question are, of course, some of the best guitar instructors you could ever hope to encounter; Guthrie Govan, Tony MacAlpine, Kid Andersen, Scotty Johnson, Sam Coulson, Kelly LeMiuex, Rodney Holmes and Tom Size, will all be part of the epic, 5-day guitar workshop.

As well as being able to attend daily ‘Rock Masterclasses,’ beginner guitarists will also have the opportunity to sit down, one-on-one with the Racer X and Mr. Big guitarist, and learn some vital techniques and practicing methods.

The ‘Paul Gilbert Great Guitar Escape,’ will be taking place at the same venue that, ‘Alex Skolnick and Chris Broderick’s Winter Guitar Retreat’ is, the Full Moon Resort, Big Indian, NY, which is located in the Catskill Mountains.

While it may be a little pricey, if you can afford it, and can get there, the ‘Paul Gilbert Great Guitar Escape,’ will be the guitar-playing experience of a lifetime.

The clinic will run from July 9 to July 13, next year.
