Epiphone Release The Tommy Thayer Spaceman Les Paul

Epiphone has announced the release of a limited edition signature guitar for Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer, titled the Spaceman Les Paul. A video of Thayer demonstrating the guitar can be found below.

The Spaceman Les Paul is available now in two packages: the premium ‘Stage-Played’ package and the ‘Custom Autographed’ package.
The ‘Stage-Played’ version is valued at $3,000 and includes a meet and greet with Thayer backstage at a Kiss concert, as well as a signed Spaceman Les Paul, which was played by the guitarist onstage.
The ‘Custom Autographed’ package is priced at $1,600 and includes a signed Spaceman Les Paul.
Both editions come with a custom silver TT hard shell guitar case, a studded leather TT signature guitar strap and a signed certificate of authenticity booklet.
Statement from Tommy Thayer: “I want to introduce to you—the Tommy Thayer Epiphone Limited Edition Spaceman Les Paul.
“This fantastic guitar is an exact version of my Gibson silver sparkle Custom Shop Standard that I’ve played onstage with KISS for years now.
“Having my own signature Epiphone Les Paul guitar is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. When I was a teenage kid back in Portland, Oregon in the ’70s, I would look at the Les Pauls at the local guitar shop wall and dream that one day I might have one of my own to play—never fathoming that I’d have my own signature model someday!
“Being in KISS for over 10 years now has taken me to that place. It’s important to me that every kid learning to play guitar, or starting your own band today should have an instrument that sounds great, looks amazing and is affordable. Enjoy the Tommy Thayer signature Epiphone Les Paul!”
