  1. I’d put Bring Me The Horizon on there. The way they’ve matured over their last 2 discs I’m all kinds of hyped on what they will do next.

    • Still not completely sold on BMTH. They were a scene band with no talent for many years and now they’re pretty much a scene band with little talent. At least they’re progressing. They could certainly take a page out of their friends in Architects’ book. Similar sound, it’s just that Architects are much more musically skilled and complex.

  2. No 36 crazyfists? August burns red? Both of those bands are coming out with albums. Well, 36CF’s new album is coming out this Feb and August burns red….not sure. Oh yeah, stick to your gun’s new album comes out Feb. as well.

  3. It’s just not my style. And everyone touts them as the greatest metal band of all time when they’re really just average imo.

  4. I See Stars. They completely revolutionized EHM right at the end of 2013. “Oh but other bands were doing it before them!” None had done it so well. None have been so fluent about it. “The Browning had done it before!” Note again, the fluency. I See Stars isn’t a breakdown band. Every album has helped them build up to what they did on their most recent release.

inb4: So and so other band did it first.
    Idgaf.

Knuckle Puck. The biggest thing in Pop Punk that has a fan following of a higher guy-girl ratio than 3:7. Damn those guys are amazing.

  5. Fear Factory, Megadeth, We Are Harlot, Sevendust, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Breaking Benjamin, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, and We Came As Romans also have new cds this year on my anticipated list
