Chris Kael Wins ‘Paul Gray Best Bassist Award’ At Revolver Golden Gods

The awards add to the growing number of accolades Five Finger Death Punch has received since the release of their highly successful two part album, “The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell.” Volume 1 was released in July 2013 and came in at number two on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart (selling 113,000 albums in its first week. Part 2 was released on November 19, 2013 and also debuted on the Billboard Top 200 album chart at number two, giving the band their second top five album within four months.

Other major winners of the night included Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age for Best Vocalist and Rob Zombie for Best Live Band. Joan Jett received the Golden God Award while Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose received the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award.

The show also featured performances by Guns N’ Roses, Joan Jett, The Pretty Reckless, Suicide Silence, A Day To Remeber and Slayer, who premiered ‘Implode,’ their first new song since 2009.
