New Orleans based metal band Crowbar have announced their new album, ‘Symmetry In Black’ is completed and will be released on May 26 via Century Media Records in Europe and May 27 via eOne Records in North America.
The band’s founding guitarist and vocalist Kirk Windstein offered the following on the album in a statement released online: “We are so proud and excited about what we have accomplished with this record! The focus, determination and attitude in the band is at an all time high. We are 100% ready to get this Juggernaut rolling and never touch the breaks again. CROWBAR will not be stopped!”
‘Symmetry In Black’ was produced by Kirk Windstein and Duane Simoneaux and mixed by Josh Wilbur. The album comes as Crowbar’s tenth studio album and the follow-up to their 2011 offering, ‘Sever The Wicked Hand.’
In his statement, Windstein added that the album was a celebration of Crowbar’s 25th anniversary: “CROWBAR is my heart and soul. The music is a part of me that I am extremely proud of. It’s an amazing feeling to be putting all of my energy and focus into something that I created 25 years ago! We are extremely excited to release our 10th full length and to bring the riffs to as many people as possible on tour. See you on the road!”
Crowbar is currently preparing to tour the U.K. with Hang The Bastard and Dripback. The band is also confirmed for a handful of European festivals this summer including Roadburn, Sweden Rock and Bloodstock.
