ESP Guitars Launch Tombstone Case Company

ESP Guitars has announced a new division, specializing in graphic-designed hard shell cases and gig bags for guitars and basses, dubbed the Tombstone Case Company. The new division will create a complete new, unique line of cases that are expected to become available later this year:

In a statement released online, ESP Senior Vice President Jeff Moore said the company’s new division would give customers the ability to further express their individuality: “What led us to create Tombstone was that many ESP customers wanted to have instrument cases with a level of character that goes beyond the traditional look.”

He added: “We’re very excited about Tombstone as a whole new area of business for ESP, and cool new choices for our customers.”

The first case in the Tombstone line was created expressly for ESP’s new Kirk Hammett Signature Series KH-WZ White Zombie guitar.

According to a press release, the cases will be superior to all other graphic-based cases on the market: “Tombstone uses a high resolution digital reproduction for its graphics, with a state-of-the-art graphics infusion process resulting in a photo-quality reproduction and a much finer detailed look than typical silkscreening. The cases are based on original artwork created by longtime ESP designer Dave Ruhr

The first line of Tombstone cases for ESP models will be available in the second quarter of 2014. Subsequent cases to fit a variety of guitars and basses from other brands will also be released at a later date.
