This list is a joke!
It was also posted two years ago. But hey.
Doesn’t change the facts one bit!
So you have an alternative list then? Or did you just come to have a go at someone else’s opinion without risking judgement of your own?
My alternative list: John McLaughlin…
what about frank gambale?
They left off Tommy Emmanuel. Lol, just lol.
Guess Scott Henderson, George Benson, Jimmy Herring, Larry Carlton and Robben Ford all need to practice more.
My list would include Reb Beach (Winger), Neal Schon (Journey), Matthias Jabs (Scorpions), Prince, and put less priority on just “being there” i.e. in famous bands (Keith Richards, Slash, Buckethead, John Frusciante)
No Pat Metheny? No Steve Morse? Wow!!!
It’s about time Lifeson got some recognition!!!
Heck yeah! Lifeson has always been one of my favs and he has always been underrated! Glad he is getting some respect on this list!
No Pat Metheny, and EVH is on top with his juvenile stuff.
I guess being juvenile is a big bonus.
I think you need to look up the word “juvenile”. I don’t know that EVH deserves to be at the top of the list, but he revolutionized lead guitar playing, and he is a modern-day J. S. Bach when it comes to his rhythm playing. You don’t have to like him or his music, but he deserves respect.
