Joe Satriani Releases Debut Single From ‘Unstoppable Momentum

Guitar legend Joe Satriani has released the debut single, titled ‘A Door Into Summer’ from his forthcoming album ‘Unstoppable Momentum.’ It can be heard below.

‘Unstoppable Momentum’ was recorded at Skywalker Sound in the Bay Area and produced by Satriani and Mike Fraser (AC/DC). The album features several guest musicians, including Vinnie Colauita (Sting, Jeff) on drums, Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) on bass and on keyboards Mike Keneally (Dethklok).

The album will be released on May 7 through Epic Records both physically and digitally. Moreover, it will come available in a variety of packages, including the ‘Ultimate Music Bundle,’ which features a signed ‘Joe’s Art 2013’ 98-page art book.

Satriani gave a short description of the book on his official website: “This book represents my first effort to finally compile my oddly drawn friends into one place, a wildly colorful portfolio of sorts. A collection of drawings meant to inspire and entertain.”
