Korn Announce US Tour With Head

Last updated:

Nu metal pioneers Korn have announced a headlining US tour with original guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch. A full list of dates and venues can be found below.

Korn previously announced that Head would be joining them for a number of European festival dates this summer, along with U.S. festival gigs at Rock on the Range in Ohio, Rocklahoma in Oklahoma, and Rock Fest in Wisconsin. Now, the band has confirmed their first run of headlining U.S. performances with Head since he left Korn in 2004.

Although Head is yet to be announced as a permanent member of the band, he has hinted on multiple occasions that he soon would be.

In a recent interview with Loudwire, Head said: “We’re taking it slow…I’m just saying anything is possible right now … As far as right now, it’s all good. It’s all good and I’ve never seen my family so positive and healthy and happy.” He added: “Hearts change, and reconciliation is now.”

Furthermore, in his new column for Loudwire, Head invited fans to, “…travel with me back into the family that I left behind so long ago. I’d love for you to be with me as I return to the boys to see if this idea totally crashes, or turns into a long-term thing — either is very possible at this point to be totally honest.”
