This week’s AMPED Artist of The Week is Pittsburgh based rock/alternative band, Long Time Divided. The track ‘Lady Luck’ can be streamed below.
Personified by their hard working mentality and grunge meets hard rock sound, Long Time Divided are fast becoming on of the most sought after bands on the Pittsburgh scene and are making a name for themselves elsewhere, including in Cleveland, where they previously opened for one of modern rocks biggest names, Fuel. The band is currently hard at work writing their second album, which they hope to release in the middle of the year.
“We have roughly five or six new songs we’re working on right now plus an additional six or seven we haven’t recorded yet. Hopefully, around mid-April we’ll be producing our sophomore album. We’re excited,” Long Time Divided vocalist DJ Beckage told us in an exclusive interview, which will be published in full later this week.

Official Long Time Divided Bio:
Like the hometown of their inception, Long Time Divided is a band of blue-collar musicians, carving a name for themselves in…the Pittsburgh music scene as one of the hardest working acts today. The wealth of musical knowledge that the members of the band bring to the group gives Long Time Divided a very polished hard rock sound.
Each person’s distinctive style blends almost seamlessly with the others: lead singer DJ Beckage’s grunge rock vocals weave through the harmonic crunch, hammered out by guitarists Paul Terry and Dean Toughlian.
Bassist Bob Beveridge and Drummer Jason Slick form the bedrock of the band; Bob bringing his soulful intensity to the bass in tandem with Jason’s almost robotic-like precision to the drums.
Long Time Divided has kept themselves grounded because they have never forgotten their roots and their fans who have elevated them.
Formed from five, they are Long Time Divided.
