Metea Gets ‘Amped’ By All Axess

This week’s ‘Amped artist’ is Australian hard rock/metal band Metea. The lyric video to the song ‘Thoughts Became Words’ from their debut EP ‘Circle Of Treachery’ can be viewed below.

After forming in 2010, Metea’s chief song writers, sisters Jade Daniels and Alanna White set about creating a unique style of heavy music by forging the sounds of rock and metal giants such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Slayer, Korn, Lamb Of God and Children Of Bodom.
Two years of writing, performing and lineup refining culminated in Metea’s debut EP ‘Circle Of Treachery,’ which was released on 13 July, 2012 with the track ‘Fallen From Grace’ as the single.
The EP received shining local reviews, as did Metea’s shows in support of it. South Australia’s main newspaper publication The Advertiser likened the ‘Circle Of Treachery’ EP launch to, “hard rock heaven,” while local radio stations began interviewing and playing Metea on-air.
Metea are currently working on their first ever film-clip and have plans for their debut full-length album in the works.
