AC/DC have confirmed that they’ll release their new album Rock or Bust on December 2nd, and that it will be the first in the band’s 41-year history to not feature Malcolm Young.
Young has been taking a break due to illness, but the band confirmed that “due to the nature of Malcolm’s condition” he will not be returning. His spot will be taken by his nephew, Stevie Young, from now on.
The band also confirmed that they’ll head out on a “world tour” in 2015, although dates are yet to be confirmed.
Rock or Bust will contain 11 new tracks and was recorded earlier this year at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio, under the watchful eye of producer Brendan O’Brien and mixer Mike Fraser.
