Faith No More Guitarist To Perform With Infectious Grooves

Influential 1990’s funk metal supergroup Infectious Grooves have announced the recruitment of Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin for their forthcoming reunion show at Metallica’s Orion Music + More Festival in June.

Infectious Grooves formed in 1990 but have been on hiatus since the release of their fourth album, ‘Mas Borracho’ in 2000.

The group is led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir and also features former Suicidal Tendencies and current Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and ex-Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Martin will be filling in for original guitarist Adam Siegel of Excel.

Trujillo recently commented on the groups reunion in a video interview posted online: “To reunite with those guys after 22 years is going to be really special for me. Orion is the perfect place for that to happen … I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
