Scott Ian, “2011 Was The Best Year Of My Career For Sure”

After a year filled with mammoth tours, Big 4 shows, the release of two killer albums and the birth of his first-born child, there is little wonder why Anthrax guitarist, Scott Ian is saying that 2011 has been his best yet. You can get all the details in the video interview below.

“I could say 2011 was the best year of my career, for sure,” Ian told Artisan News. “I used to always say ’83 or ’84, because we got to make our first album, and we never even thought that would happen. Now, all these years down the line, thirty years later, we just know how to have fun more, and I think we appreciate it more, and we enjoy it more.”
2012 is looking just as solid for Anthrax, with the second installment of their co-headlining U.S. tour, alongside fellow thrash legends Testament, set to kick-off on January 22, in Las Vegas.
The band will also be a featured artist on Universal Music Enterprises ‘Icon’ series, which is a collection of albums, “featuring the greatest hits, signature tunes and fan favorites of the most popular artists in music history.” The album will be released on January 10.
