Static-X has been forced to withdraw from the remaining dates of their current U.S. tour with Emmure and Ill Nino, due to an unspecified medical condition affecting guitarist/vocalist Wayne Static.
The band made the announcement in an official press release. It read as follows: “With much regret, Static-X has been forced to pull off the remaining dates of their 2012 Tour following last nights final show in Flint, MI on Saturday, October 6th. Wayne Static must return to Los Angeles and prepare for some medical procedures to remedy problems that have been hampering his performance.
In his own press release, Wayne Static assured fans Static-X would return: “I’m so sorry to all my fans but I can’t give you the 1000% you deserve from Static-X every night right now. Evil disco will continue in 2013. Just wait until you see whats next!!!”
In addition, Static-X will perform two local shows in Lancaster, Calif., on Oct. 27, and Ventura, Calif., on Oct 28.
Emmure and Ill Nino will finish the current tour with Emmure taking the headlining spot. The remaining dates can be found below.
