The Doors Guitarist & Organist Join Marilyn Manson Onstage

Guitarist Robby Krieger and organist Ray Manzarek of the legendary psychedelic rock band The Doors were surprise guests at a recent Marilyn Manson show at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles. Fan-filmed footage of the performance can be found in the videos below.

On August 16, just two days prior to the festival, Krieger and Manzarek were guests of honor at a Doors tribute show at the House of Blues. Several music industry heavyweights attended the show, dubbed ‘The Doors Day,’ which also featured a special performance by Krieger and Manzarek, accompanied by Billy Morrison, Matt Sorum (ex-Guns n’ Roses) and guest vocalists Mark McGrath, Emily Armstrong, Linda Perry and Franky Perez.
According to various reports, Manson also attended the show and was inspired to ask the two revered artists to join him on stage at the Sunset Strip Festival. Krieger and Manzarek accepted Manson’s offer and together, on August 18, they performed three of the Doors classic songs: ‘People Are Strange,’ ‘Love Me Two Times,’ and ‘Five to One.’
