Slipknot recently held the second Knotfest festival at San Bernadino, Ca. bringing all the chaos of the weekend festivals held in Europe, to the United States. After the success of the 2012 Knotfest, this years festival was held over two days across five stages, with over 40 bands playing.
The lineup included, Fear Factory, In This Moment, Testament, Napalm Death, Killswitch Engage, DevilDriver, Five Finger Death Punch, among others, and two headlining sets from Slipknot. The two performances were also the debut of the new Slipknot lineup, with their new drummer and bassist, rumoured to be Jay Weinberg and Alessandro “Vman” Venturella. The two performances come hot off the heels of the release of Slipknot‘s fifth studio album, ‘.5: The Gray Chapter‘, which was released 17 October via Roadrunner records and is available digitally and physically on CD and Vinyl.
