Animals As Leaders To Host ‘Camping With Animals’ Winter Retreat

Animals As Leaders members Tosin Abasi, Javier Reyes, and Matt Garstka have announced that they will be hosting a winter retreat entitled ‘Camping With Animals’ with the Faceless bassist Evan Brewer and other special guests early next year. A video invitation from guitarist Tosin Abasi can be found below.

‘Camping With Animals’ will be held over four days from January 2nd to January 6th at The Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction from the esteemed musicians as well as participate in workshops and seminars, dine on gourmet meals and attend exclusive performances.

Guitarist Abasi released the following statement on the camp: “As a musician, I’ve benefited the most from demonstration. I hope to create an environment for other aspiring musicians to do the same. I and the other instructors involved will be at your disposal to provide an opportunity for growth and inspiration. I believe that this is truly a unique group of players with highly individual approaches to their instruments together in one place at one time.”

Meanwhile, Animals As Leaders are preparing to headline the Rock Party Festival in Long Beach, before they embark on a headlining tour of Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Dates and venues can be found below.
